  • Buy from a dealer who stocks the accessories—sourcing mounts separately adds a week to your timeline.

Under federal law (18 U.S. Code § 1708), only USPS-authorized mail may be placed in residential mailboxes. That has nothing to do with trolling motors, except to say that shipping regulations and unexpected costs are part of every purchase. Plan for them, or they’ll plan for you.

Honestly, the Ulterra line is great. I’d buy it again. But I’d buy it smarter the second time. That’s the real value of experience—knowing where the spec sheet ends and the real-world story begins.
