Step 1: The Power & Connection Check
From the outside, it looks like a complex machine that just died. The reality is, 40% of the Ulterra 'emergencies' I’ve coordi ated since 2023 were caused by a dead connection. Not a broken motor.
Check #1: Battery voltage at the main power lead.

Step A: Listen for the actuator.
When you press the stow button, do you hear the actuator motor humming? If yes, the actuator is likely fine. This can happen if the unit was stored with tension on the bracket, or if debris is caught in the joint.
